Our Presbyterian Theology.

A Reflection from our Pastor
One of the most common things I’m asked when I tell someone I’m a Presbyterian minister is how do you spell that? Love it. The Christian faith, while one body, consists of so many different denominations that it is hard to keep them all straight. But to make things simple, at the very core of the Presbyterian faith, is the dependence on God’s grace. Everything we do. Everything we experience. Everything we have. It all flows from the grace of God. The character of God is rooted in grace and love and mercy. Embodying the Spirit of Grace is how we function as a community here at UPC. We receive grace and then we offer grace. As a church, we believe that we have been called to extend unconditional love to our neighbors; we’ve been called to go out and share the good news of Jesus Christ. Jesus is the center of everything we do, and it is by his uncompromising grace that we are continually renewed, restored, and reconciled every day.
